Creating a Premium Experience That Tops the Year Before
Johnson Controls holds its annual incentive programme at various locations across Asia to reward its top sales personnel and their partners. We were tasked to create a fun, engaging, and premium experience in Malaysia that would surpass previous years—especially for repeat award recipients. The event needed to reflect the brand’s upmarket image and deliver a memorable celebration worthy of their top achievers.
Our Approach
The programme began with a welcome dinner at an offsite beachfront restaurant, where guests enjoyed cocktails at sunset and a delicious spread of local Malaysian cuisine. The evening was enriched with vibrant cultural performances, including a lively bamboo dance that encouraged guest participation.
On day three, delegates chose between two curated experiences: a scenic tour of Langkawi—including a breathtaking cable car ride and visits to local attractions like the sea aquarium—or a mangrove adventure, featuring a boat ride through lush mangrove forests, insights into marine conservation, and a visit to a traditional Kelong (offshore fish farm on stilts).
The event concluded with a glamorous black-tie gala dinner, where top performers were honoured with awards. Guests celebrated late into the night, dancing to live music from a local party band—capping off a truly unforgettable incentive experience.
